Top 100 (Mostly) Classic Horror Flicks

The weather has turned here in Southwest Virginia; the chill in the air and the smell of chimney smoke, mean that Fall has arrived…and along with it, my desire to spend these chilly nights watching (mostly) old horror flicks.

Halloween is just around the corner, I’m going to start a running list of my favorite, mostly classic horror flicks and B movies.  Here’s a recap of what I’ve watched over the past few years.  I’ll be adding more over the coming weeks, as I watch them…and if you’d like to share some of your favorites with me, feel free to offer up any suggestions.

The Wolfman

Tonight I’m watching the 2010 remake of the 1941 classic.  Though I generally remember the film recieving fairly poor reviews, I’ve always liked it…I mean, it’s a period piece, and a werewolf flick.  I’m a sucker for both, so what’s not to like?  The only thing I’ve never understood is why they released it in the summer, back in 2010.  This would have been great to see in theaters during Halloween.
