And as one would assume the US started off very poorly in group play, then came back and surprised everyone with a 2 - 0 win over Egypt; advancing to the semi-finals with the help of a stunning 3 - 0 Brazil win over Italy. Then the US had an amazing victory, upsetting a very strong Spanish team...
